I’m very thankful that I have three
stinky boys that usually don’t mind taking a shower. The problem I have is finding them body wash or soap and a shampoo that formulated for their sensitive skin. I can’t forget to mention that it has to smell good. Getting them to agree on the same body wash or shampoo scent can be a nightmare. One time they absolutely refused to agree on a body wash so I told them that they could use what ever their father had in the house. While it seemed like a great idea at the time, I later learned that I was very wrong. The soap and body wash that we had wasn’t formulated for the kids’ sensitive skin or accidental contact with eyes. We learned the hard way with poor Brody that we still need tear free body soap and shampoos. Their skin dried out so quickly that they were left itching and scratching all night long. The next day I headed to the store to get something that I knew was formulated for kids.
We were recently sent a bottle of Dial Kids Body & Hair Wash in Watery Melon for the boys to try. I was curious to see how a body and hair wash would work for the boys and their sensitive skin. Zander and Quentin thought it would be a good experiment to get really dirty and smelly to see how well it actually worked. Let me tell you that they were smelly little boys as they headed into their showers! They were beyond excited to report that Dial Kids Body & Hair Wash worked great and they were squeaky clean. Brody had some really cute sound effects at this point. Amazingly the three boys also agreed that the Watery Melon smelled great. All evening I would get a faint hint of watermelon as one of them walked past me. The next day I found out the three boys had used the entire bottle! That’s right, three showers and an entire bottle of body and hair wash was gone. When I asked them about it, they said it smelled so good and lathered up really nice so they kept cleaning. Note to self and other moms: May need to ration the Dial Kids Body and Hair Wash!
