Graduation memories

I've done it!!

I graduated from Southeast High School in 1998.   While It’s been a while I still remember exactly how I felt.  More than anything I was excited to be walking across that stage and receiving my diploma with my class.  Sounds silly I know but there was a time that I wasn’t sure that would happen.

I missed a good portion of my Junior year so I started my Senior year behind most of my classmates.   I had to work hard to make up everything I missed on top of all of my classes I needed.    When the second semester of my Senior year started I knew I would be graduating.  That is when I learned that hard work and persistence does pay off.
